Una Sorpresa, siendo de Gijón y habiendo conocido esta sidrería pasar por muchas manos, ha sido una sorpresa lo que me he encontrado. Nueva gerencia, con muy buen género y calidad en la ejecución de los platos. Carta sencilla y clásica de chigre de Gijón de toda la vida. Hemos ido a cenar de la que veníamos de la Semana Negra ya que nos habían comentado que cambiaron de dueños. Pedimos unas zamburiñas, patatas bravas a la volante y un criollo ( las zamburiñas se me olvidó la foto) todo riquísimo, rapido y raciones abundantes. El camarero que nos atendió muy amable y profesional creo recordar que se llamaba Jandro. Sin duda volveremos.

We went for dinner at the restaurant we were visiting during Semana Negra (Black Week) as we'd heard they'd changed owners. We ordered scallops, patatas bravas a la volante (fried potatoes), and a criollo (I forgot to take a picture of the scallops). Everything was delicious, quick, and the portions were generous. The waiter who served us was very friendly and professional; I think his name was Jandro. We'll definitely be back.

Una suerte haber conocido a Mónica, disfrutar de su excelente trato y de su buen hacer en la cocina. Íbamos a la aventura en un día de celebración, y sin duda la elección fue todo un éxito. De entrada nos decidimos por un par de centollas para compartir, para luego disfrutar de un plato principal. Entrecot sabroso y en su punto, callos caseros abundantes, pequeñinos y picantinos, como manda la tradición, y una cazuela de pulpo y langostinos la mar de sabrosa. Como colofón, tarta de chocolate. Sobra decir que salimos muy contentos y con la intención, cómo no podía ser de otro modo, de repetir experiencia.Traducción
We are lucky to have met Mónica, to enjoy her excellent treatment and her good work in the kitchen. We were going on an adventure on a day of celebration, and without a doubt the choice was a success. For starters we decided on a couple of crabs to share, and then enjoyed a main dish. Tasty and perfectly cooked entrecôte, abundant homemade tripe, small and spicy, as tradition dictates, and a very tasty octopus and prawn casserole. To top it off, chocolate cake. Needless to say, we left very happy and with the intention, how could it be otherwise, of repeating the experience.
Un sitio muy bueno, volveré a comer aquí. El sabor de la comida muy fino y bien presentado. Muchos detalles, el pan caliente, los camareros muy atentos y amables. Se nota cuando un sitio está bien organizado, hay buen equipo y funciona bien. Los baños están limpios. Lo recomiendo.

Excelente trato con una cocina tradicional. Postres caseros originales. El Pastel de Centollo y sus fabes con bonito de temporada, un capricho para el paladar más exigente. Merece la pena repetir.
